Job Description Summary
The Segment Total Rewards Lead APAC role is responsible for overseeing and implementing Compensation programs for multiple Business Segments (Electrification Systems and Wind) in GE Vernova across Asia Pacific region. This role will bring a strategic mindset while being an operational executer analyzing and understanding what it takes to influence change and take action as a member of the Total Rewards team while working with the extended HR function and global matrix at GE Vernova. This is an individual contributor role and will bring a solution oriented mindset to support the stakeholders.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Compensation
- Lead cyclical compensation work including market benchmarking reviews budget management recognition programs offer review retention exercises and analyses for specific client group(s).
- Act as a compensation subject matter expert partner and collaborate closely with business HR finance and legal stakeholders to understand needs and provide compensation insights to support strategic decisions.
- Prepare organize maintain and analyze data & reporting for HR Managers and Business Leaders as needed.
- Collaborate closely with the HR business partners key business leaders and recruitment teams to facilitate attraction and retention of talent for the client group(s)
- Develop better market comparisons design salary ranges and job levels to better support career development progression and talent management.
- Take the lead in communication and implementation of Compensation and Incentives offerings and changes for APAC employees. Work with HR Business Partners to answer/resolve employee questions and concerns around Compensation.
Special Projects
- Participate actively in global and /or regional Total Rewards initiatives and projects aimed at delivering best in class Rewards programs and processes
- Perform adhoc analyses and manage special projects as needed (e.g. leveling organizational planning comp strategy retention etc.
- Responsible for developing and delivering strong implementation and change management plans for new and existing program enhancements or changes.
Qualifications/Key Skills
- Overall 10 years of post qualification HR experience with 6 years of prior C&B/total rewards experience is a must in a matrix centric organization.
- Strong compensation consultation and partnership skills; ability to build solid relationships and partner across functions
- Demonstrable leadership capability with welldeveloped coaching mentoring influencing and stakeholder relationship skills
- Able to navigate spearhead and manage within a highly matrix environment.
- Experience of designing and managing base salary structures Incentive Plans competitive market analysis forecasting trends costs and modeling outcomes
- Understanding of and experience in administering global benefit programs.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal and responsive skills.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and resolve complex problems.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced rollupsleeves innovative environment
- Ambidextrous teammate someone who is collaborative and a selfstarter.
