Facilitate conversations between employees supervisors or union representatives to foster understanding and find practical respectful solutions.
Review and update policies to keep the City aligned with evolving labor laws best practices and organizational goals.
Support your team by mentoring staff delegating work effectively and modeling a proactive serviceoriented approach to HR.
Prepare and present reports on employee relations trends case outcomes and recommended improvements to HR leadership.
Lead training sessions for supervisors and employees on topics like respectful workplace practices conflict resolution and performance management.
Stay current by researching legislative changes attending HRrelated workshops or meetings and bringing fresh insights to the team.
Education and Experience:
Equivalent to a Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Public Administration Human Resources Psychology or a closely related field; AND three 3 years of professional human resources experience in recruitment and selection benefits risk management or employee relations; OR an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
Licenses Certifications and Equipment:
A valid State drivers license is required.
