What youll do

• Ensure designs and methods meet established GE design practices and design templates and results are effectively documented.

• Organize resources coordinate tasks and actively communicate across teams and locations.

• Manage work assignments and schedules for a team of engineers including contractors.

• Support component and gas turbine testing from test planning to monitoring post validation test analysis and part qualification activities.

• Support installed fleet by addressing product cost out and root cause analysis when needed.

• Establish document and implement design process improvements for cycletime reduction and improved design quality.

• Work closely with performance aerodynamic mechanical other cross functional teams and the Global HT team to ensure successful program

• Ensure teams work is properly reviewed with peers and experts prior to reporting out to component owners customers and leadership.

• Mentor early career staff and manage contractors.

What youll bring (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics Chemistry Mathematics or Computer Science

• At least 8 additional years of experience in an engineering capacity

• Demonstrated understanding of heat transfer design methods gas turbine systems and aerodynamics.

The base pay range for this position is 111200.00 185400.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety offactors including the candidates experience education and skill set. This position is also eligible fora 15 bonus.
