Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Location: North Chicago IL (5 days office)
Job Type : Contract
Job Description
The Technical Project Manager actively drive and own accountability for the delivery of targeted project outcomes in line with cost time and scope expectations while being compliant with customer delivery methodologies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Professionally qualified in project management with a minimum of 10 years experience.
- Ability to manage projects from conception to successful implementation
- Ability to work with multiple business and IT teams.
- Effective communicator who is flexible and adaptable to work with global teams in adjusting to different time zones and cultures in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Proven working experience as a project and/or program administrator in the IT field
- Extensive experience in project management methodology documentation and process
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Preferred: PMP certification PRINCE II certification or Microsoft Project experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility and ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties / vendors for the execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time within scope and within budget
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems tools and techniques
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Establish and maintain relationships with all stakeholders and third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
