Job Description
Restaurant Host Reports to:
- Restaurant Manager
- Possess and live Europa Village core values
- Greets guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact
- Interacts with guests as they arrive and leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience
- Accurately quotes wait times if applicable
- Ability to use the reservation system to track table availability
- Assigns tables to guests depending on party size and server availability
- Escorts guests to assigned table presents menus and announces the servers name
- Ability to answer guests questions in a warm and professional manner
- Ability to clearly communicate guests needs to servers bussers and managers as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
- Create and foster an environment of teamwork by helping guests or fellow employees without a second thought
- Comfortable working on feet for long periods of time
- Able to communicate Europa Villages story
- Arrive at work prepared with excellent personal presentation standards and clean pressed uniform and appropriate shoes
- Adhere to Europa Villages policies and procedures
- Must be available to work holidays and weekends
