Job Description
Highlights:
- Schedule: Full time 32 hours per week) four days per week from 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Location: Primary location 1624 hours per week) at Spine Center Medical PlazaClemmons Clemmons NC. Remaining time for the week float where needed at other xray locations: Downtown Health Plaza Medical PlazaMiller Piedmont Plaza Winston East all in Winston Salem NC.
What You Will Do:
Perform diagnostic radiology procedures by utilizing equipment and employing techniques and procedures that are appropriate to the entire span of ages served in accordance with accepted standards of practice and demonstrating expertise in limiting radiation exposure to patients and other members of the health care team.
Assist radiologists and other qualified staff physicians with invasive procedures patient scheduling clerical and image processing functions.
What You Will Need:
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered and certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible and must become registered within 12 months of hire.
- BLS Provider Certification.
- Minimum six months experience as a diagnostic Radiologic Technologist preferred. One year experience with patients preferred.
Skills for Success:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate on a professional level with physicians nurses and other ancillary professional staff
- Ability to maintain daily schedules
- Clinical skills to enable recognition and to function accordingly in relation to priorities of patient needs
- Performs effectively with frequent workload changes and competing demands
- Basic computer skills
