Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Huntsville AL
Shift: Evenings (Monday - Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)
Pay Rate: Starting at $26.00/hour (with $1.50 shift differential for hours worked between 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
On-Call Requirements: Yes - discussed during interview
Weekend Requirements: Based on case load; qualifies as overtime if applicable
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join a mobile diagnostic imaging team in the Huntsville AL area. This role involves performing mobile X-rays and EKGs (if applicable) across a variety of patient settings including skilled nursing facilities correctional institutions and home health environments. The ideal candidate is dependable self-motivated and enjoys working in an independent fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
- Submit/transmit completed imaging studies to a Radiologist for interpretation.
- Transport and set up equipment at various patient locations including skilled nursing facilities prisons/jails and private residences.
- Perform EKGs (if required) and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
- Complete and upload all exam-related paperwork and billing documentation daily.
- Communicate regularly with dispatch and supervisory teams to coordinate workflow.
- Interact professionally and courteously with patients colleagues and facility staff.
- Maintain assigned vehicle and ensure X-ray equipment is in safe working condition.
Qualifications:
- Active Radiologic Technologist license in the state of Alabama.
- ARRT Certification (or eligibility).
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable working independently and traveling between patient locations.
