Location: Fort Lauderdale FL
Shift: Night Shift
- Typical Schedule: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM Monday - Friday (4 days/week)
- Alternate FT Option: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (flexible days)
- Pay Rate: $28.00 - $30.00/hour
On-Call Requirements: None
Weekend Requirements: Based on case load; may qualify as overtime
Job Summary:
We are currently hiring a Radiologic Technologist in Fort Lauderdale FL for a mobile imaging role that delivers X-ray and EKG (if applicable) services to patients in various settings including skilled nursing facilities correctional institutions and private homes. This is a night shift role with some flexibility in scheduling. Ideal candidates are self-sufficient technically skilled and committed to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process diagnostic X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
- Transmit completed images to Radiologists for interpretation.
- Deliver and set up imaging equipment at patient locations.
- Conduct EKGs (if required) and transmit results to Cardiologists.
- Complete and submit paperwork and billing documents daily in accordance with protocol.
- Communicate regularly with dispatchers and managers.
- Interact professionally and compassionately with patients and facility staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of assigned vehicle and imaging equipment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Radiologic Technologist license.
- ARRT Certification (or eligibility).
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication organization and time management skills.
- Able to work independently during evening and night hours.
