Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Columbia SC
Shift: Day Shift (Monday - Friday 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
Weekend Availability: Part-Time (Saturday & Sunday 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM)
Pay Rate: Starting at $27.00/hour (with $1.50 shift differential for hours worked between 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
On-Call Requirements: Yes - to be discussed during interview
Weekend Requirements: Based on case load; may qualify for overtime
Job Summary:
We are currently hiring a Radiologic Technologist for a mobile diagnostic imaging position in Columbia SC. This role involves performing mobile X-rays and EKGs (if applicable) across a variety of clinical settings including skilled nursing facilities correctional facilities and in-home patient care. The ideal candidate is dependable self-directed and enjoys working in a field-based environment with consistent support from a centralized team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process diagnostic X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
- Transmit completed images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
- Travel to patient locations and properly set up equipment for imaging services.
- Conduct EKGs (as needed) and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
- Complete all required paperwork and scan documentation daily according to protocol.
- Maintain regular communication with dispatchers and managers.
- Interact courteously and professionally with patients clients and colleagues.
- Ensure the maintenance and proper functioning of assigned vehicle and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Radiologic Technologist license.
- ARRT Certification (or eligibility).
- Current drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently with strong time management skills.
- Comfortable working in various clinical and non-clinical environments.
