As the Senior Financial Systems Analyst of Reporting Center of Excellence you are a subject matter expert for multiple applications and tools managed by this team. In this role you will be responsible for the daily administration and enduser support of BlackLine SAP FICO General Ledger master data and Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) platform. You will also lead and support financial system projects and integration efforts and focus on identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement within current processes and applications.

The work involves regular interaction with global system users IT teams and external software vendors. Additional requirements include but are not limited to:

  • Aptitude to learn new and unfamiliar technologies independently using documentation and online resources
  • Demonstrated track record of process improvement and desire to implement best practices
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to build and manage strong relationships with crossfunctional teams

Wolters Kluwer Financial Shared Services (FSS) focuses on building accounting expertise in a tower structure: Record to Report Procure to Pay and Order to Cash and provides support to the businesses of Wolters Kluwer in a standardized harmonized and highquality manner. If successful the candidate can expand their expertise within a global organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage advanced configuration and setup of financial systems

  • Manage and optimize the BlackLine application as a handson system administrator

  • Perform global SAP ECC FICO GL master data maintenance and MS Dynamics GP administration and reinforce related governance processes and controls

  • Troubleshoot and provide timely comprehensive support to financial system endusers

  • Coordinate with multiple departments to resolve systemrelated issues

  • Update configuration specifications for the internal master data request system Enterprise Data Portal (EDP)

  • Develop document and deliver training to global endusers on supported systems and applications

  • Conduct regular audits and testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity within finance systems

  • Assist in application integrations implementations and upgrades

  • Drive system optimization efforts to improve processes within FSS through better use of technology

  • Administer complex user access and permissions

  • Participate in and lead system enhancement projects and initiatives

  • Other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience:

Required:

  • 35 years of professional experience with financial systems administration
  • Experience with SAP ECC GL master data management
  • Ability to interact with IT and various functions as well as with various levels of management
  • Ability to explain and interpret accounting/financial information from a business and technological standpoint
  • Knowledge of accounting standards with business and IT general controls and financial processes (close consolidations & reporting and planning cycles)
  • Advanced skills in core Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel Word PowerPoint)

Highly Desirable:

  • SAP FICO certification
  • BlackLine System Administrator Business Administrator or Local Administrator experience
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) NetSuite and JD Edwards
  • Experience with system implementations solution building and control of financial systems
  • Professional experience and awareness of the complexity interactions and dynamics within a large multinational company
  • Project management experience primarily working on complex and transformational systems assignments
  • Competence with large data sets and knowledge of best practices for data cleanliness/integrity
  • Experience with process standardization
  • Proficiency with SharePoint Visio Project Power BI and Power Automate

  • High level of aptitude/interest in becoming a systems expert for areas of expertise
  • Ability to work flexible hours (US and UK hours) to coordinate with the rest of the team during peak close and reporting periods
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal
  • Highly organized strong timemanagement detailoriented approach to work; demonstrated ability to produce high quality work in ambiguous environments
  • Ability to work independently under moderate direction with a willingness to take the initiative and follow through on projects

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Minimal travel might be required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to work US and UK hours at least 50 each month
  • Minimum two 2 days per week working from the office (PuneKalyani Nagar)
