Wilson College is seeking a dynamic Sports Information Assistant to join our Athletics Communications team. This parttime position offers an exciting opportunity to support and promote 11 NCAA Division III intercollegiate programs and two Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) varsity equestrian teams.
As a vital member of our team the Sports Information Assistant helps capture the energy of game day and highlights the accomplishments of our studentathletes. Reporting to the Director of Athletics Communications this role is responsible for a range of gameday operations and communications duties including:
Promoting athletic events and teams
Compiling and reporting accurate statistics
Streaming home contests
Managing website content and updates
Creating engaging content for social media
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required
Demonstrated experience in sports information or athletic communications
Valid drivers license
Successful background check required
