Job Description

We are a dynamic expanding company with exciting opportunities in language/culture training/education/instruction IT cyber security and intelligence (analysts CI HUMINT SIGINT etc.. Positions are available at both CONUS and OCONUS and for both short and longterm durations.
Global Dimensions is recruiting for an upcoming opportunity and seeking candidates who will be available upon award. We are seeking a Construction Project Manager. The Construction Project Manager provides construction management of a single major program or project or multiple projects. Provides decisive direction regarding business technical and personnel management involving multidisciplinary and diverse functional activities. Is responsible for the overall management in terms of technical quality cost and schedule. Maintains daily progress reports and inspection reports. Leads the inspection and quality assurance team assigned to projects to ensure timely and effective project oversight. Acts as a senior advisor to the Program Manager.
The Construction Manager is responsible for managing the daytoday activities on the ground and coordination of all construction or engineering personnel on the ground in support of a task order. The Construction Manager ensures productivity and safety of all construction engineering or visiting personnel on the ground. The Construction Manager is based in country at the construction site daily.
Requirements
- Must have a Secret clearance.
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution and 10 years of related experience plus proven success in developing and managing construction projects.
- Two years of management experience on construction projects in subSaharan Africa or other postConflict countries.
- Management experience as the seniormost or second mostsenior person on the ground for the project.
- At least two projects must be $1.5 million or greater in value.
- Three years of construction experience focusing on vertical construction. At least two years of experience on vertical construction must be overseas in either subSaharan Africa or other postconflict countries.
- Experience working OCONUS (Africa) and/or on AFRICAP or ACOTA programs is highly desirable.
- PMP or Construction Management Certification (CCM) desired.
- Knowledge of Government policies and procedures.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex environment with multiple priorities.
- Requires proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience working with a wide range of business processes.
- Must be selfmotivated and have strong interpersonal skills.
