About the Role
We are currently seeking a Safety & Security Officer to join our onsite team.
Primarily working theEvening shiftyou will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all employees guests contractors and the property. You will be involved in guest liaison first aid response fire emergency activities investigations and monitoring security surveillance equipment. Reporting to the Safety & Security Manager this position requires you to be a motivated individual who is highly organised hard working enthusiastic and committed.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have
- Previous experience as a Security Officer in a customer service environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Current Certificate II in Security Operations/ Crowd Control and Senior First Aid Certificate
- Candidates with hotel experience will be highly regarded.
You must have the ability to prioritise tasks enjoy working in a diverse team environment and be flexible to work a 7 day rotating roster.
This role will primarily be working evenings occasionally working overnights.
