Job Description
Whats the role
In this role you will be joining the London Regulated Services team supporting local Managers and Directors in ensuring Gen II meets its regulatory requirements in a number of areas in which it operates. There will be particular emphasis on Gen IIs Appointed Representatives as well as asset ownership verification work for a range of clients.
What youll be doing
- Supporting the Director responsible for Appointed Representatives in requesting quarterly and annual questionnaires; reviewing responses; following up outstanding responses; completing internal documentation
- Assisting the Director with onboarding new Appointed Representatives and annual fitness and propriety reviews
- Arranging meetings with Appointed Representatives
- Assisting the team with asset ownership verification work including emailing requests for ownership documentation (including Land Registry information)
- Recording asset ownership verification outcomes in Depowise
- Ad hoc support of team with other client and internal requirements
- Obtaining an understanding of the full offering of the Regulated Services team to support career progression opportunities
The ideal background for this role:
- Preference for previous experience in the funds industry
- An understanding of the finance industry and the regulatory requirements in which we operate
- Sound academic background
- Good communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word
Role Location/Hybrid Schedule
This role is based in our London office. Although the nature of most of the roles within Gen II cannot be classed as totally flexible there is scope in some cases for a form of Agile Working. The different ways in which Agile Working can be undertaken are dependent on the demands and needs of the business the office space available and the individuals preferences and circumstances.
