We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Director to join our team in Midtown Manhattan. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated HR professional to build and grow the HR function within our growing credit investing firm. The HR Director will report directly to the CEO Michael A. Winn and will serve as the primary HR point of contact for all employees. This role currently does not have direct reports but has the potential to grow into a managing role.
Responsibilities:
- Recruiting: Manage the fullcycle recruiting process from sourcing and screening candidates to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- HR Professional: Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees addressing a wide range of HRrelated matters.
- Develop and implement HR policies procedures and initiatives.
- Manage employee relations ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Manage employee benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Report directly to the CEO Michael A. Winn.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 510 years of progressive HR experience.
- Proven experience in recruiting.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles practices and employment laws.
- Experience with Jet Screening preferred.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work onsite in our Midtown Manhattan office.
- Ability to work fulltime.
- Experience in the financial services industry particularly in credit investing is a plus.
