** PREVIOUS ORTHODONTIC EXPERIENCED REQUIRED.

Summary of Position:

The orthodontic assistant plays a crucial role on the team at Kozlowski DePascale Orthodontics where we are committed to delivering an elite level service experience and result for our patients. As an orthodontic assistant you will be the primary supporting role to our doctor team who lead the way in delivering on this promise to our patients. In this role you will assist doctors patients and other team members while striving to be a positive professional and welcoming addition to the team.

Essential Job Function:

  • Establish a trusting rapport with patients ensuring the highest level of patient customer service is given to all patients
  • Educate the patients on orthodontic care and treatment practices
  • Work chairside with patient care including assisting in placing and removing orthodontic appliances
  • Taking XRays pictures fabricating retainers
  • Maintain patients charts and transcribe the doctor notes accurately
  • Keep clinical supplies stocked and organized as well as clean sterilize and prepare the equipment
  • Be receptive to coaching and training from doctors to better develop skillset
  • Deliver high level of customer experience
  • Other duties as required

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Orthodontics and associated treatment appliances and equipment used
  • Actionoriented and taking initiative being adaptive and flexible in a changing environment
  • Understand and can effectively communicate techniques utilized in the Orthodontic field
  • Have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Compassion and high level of service for our patients parents and staff
  • Integrity always doing the right thing
  • Ability to handle confidential information and protect patient confidentiality
  • Dependable reliable to be at work when scheduled
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to stay organized and follow instruction
  • Professional manner and appearance always
  • Able to always work cohesively with the team
  • Computer skills: Microsoft office and Web Browser

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma GED or equivalent
  • 13 Years Relative Experience required

Compensation is based on the relevant experience to the position starting at $26.00 per hour.
