Responsibilities:
- EWM Configuration & Implementation:
- Lead or assist in the implementation of SAP EWM across multiple warehouses including configuration of inbound outbound and inventory management processes.
- Design configure and optimize SAP EWM to meet operational requirements in accordance with business processes and best practices.
- Provide endtoend support for EWM functionality including receiving putaway picking packing shipping and inventory management.
- Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to identify areas for process improvement and automation within the SAP EWM system.
- Conduct system analysis to identify gaps and suggest solutions for enhancing warehouse operations reducing costs and improving productivity.
- Integration with SAP Modules:
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP EWM with other SAP modules such as SAP MM (Materials Management) SAP WM (Warehouse Management) SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and SAP TM (Transportation Management).
- Assist in integration efforts between SAP EWM and thirdparty systems (e.g. transportation management systems external warehouse providers).
- Testing & Support:
- Prepare test plans perform unit testing integration testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP EWM enhancements and upgrades.
- Provide postimplementation support for SAP EWM troubleshooting issues and guiding endusers through complex scenarios.
- Training & Documentation:
- Develop user manuals training materials and documentation for warehouse operations and SAP EWM functionality.
- Conduct training sessions for warehouse staff and business users to ensure proficiency in SAP EWM operations.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders including logistics inventory control and procurement teams to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP EWM configurations.
- Partner with IT to manage system performance implement updates and ensure data integrity across warehouse processes.
