The Opportunity

Are you a qualified High Voltage Electrician looking for a secure and rewarding opportunity Join our dynamic team delivering excellence in mining while maintaining a strong focus on safety and environmental standards.

About The Role

By joining our team you will have the opportunity to be a part of a new workforce that is focused on developing a strong performance culture and a culture that values everyones contribution equally. As a High Voltage Electrician you will be required to:

  • Perform the servicing repair and maintenance of AC drive Electric Haul Trucks workshops and facilities as directed in accordance with Thiess maintenance systems documentation.
  • Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management System.
  • Completing General Maintenance Breakdowns Services and Component Change outs.
  • Periodical Statutory Electrical Testing/ Inspections
  • Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals technical bulletins OEM and computerbased systems.
  • Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
  • Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation

About you

As a successful applicant youll be a highachieving safetyfocused individual whoenjoys delivering results in a dynamic environment. Your attention to detail coupled with your commitment to delivering high quality work will also ensure your success in this role. The ideal candidate will hold:

  • Queensland Electrical Work Licence or equivalent
  • HV Switching certification desirable
  • Proven experience in a similar role in heavy industry or construction
  • Current LVR/ CPR
  • Valid Drivers Licence
  • Current Standard 11
