About the Role:
I am working with an insurance agency north of Chicago that is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager/Team Lead to join their team. The Operations Manager/Team Lead will have overarching responsibility for all daytoday operations. Ideal candidate has experience running the office for a small to midsized insurance agency experience running a book of business and managing account managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Office Management oversee the daytoday administrative operations of the office ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies and providing support to employees.
  • Manage an established current book of business
  • Handle HR responsibilities for the office Handle various administrative tasks. Provide general administrative support to employees including answering phones responding to emails and handling correspondence. Act as the main contact for officerelated issues.
  • Has a working knowledge of the agency management software (Applied TAM and Applied Epic).
  • Improve daily organization and workflows to ensure maximum operational efficiency.
  • Ensures regulatory compliance of the agency.
  • Act as Team Lead and monitor production and monthly goals for 68 account managers.
  • Fosters and maintains relationships with current carriers.
  • Responsible for client retention activities and engagement strategies.
  • Oversees company operations along with Partners to ensure company targets for revenue and profitability are met.
  • Oversees education and can provide coaching training and development programs to increase staff capability and agency expertise.
  • Maintains and builds trusted relationships with key customers partners vendors and management.
  • Supports the Partners in all aspects of the business and operations.

Skills:

  • 5 years of Operations Manager experience from an insurance agency required.
  • Property & Casualty agency management system preferably Applied TAM.
  • Must have experience running a book of business.
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Strong insurance knowledge.
  • Creative problemsolving skills along with exceptional time management and attention to detail.


Compensation Package:

  • Compensation: Between $120k$130k (based on experience)
