DescriptionPrimary Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed production plans and schedules based on demand forecasts material availability and production capacity.
- Coordinate with procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Monitor workinprogress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and delays in a timely manner.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and suggest process improvements.
- Communicate schedule changes and priorities to production teams and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering quality assurance and supply chain to support new product introductions and engineering changes.
- Maintain ERP/MRP systems with accurate and uptodate planning data.
- Participate in capacity planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education & Experience
- Associates degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related fieldpreferred but not required
- 58 years of experience in a manufacturing planning production control or supply chain role.
- Experience working in environments applying Lean Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma tools to optimize workflows and reduce inefficiencies
- APICS certification (e.g. CPIM or CSCP) preferred but not required
- Strong grasp of how to manage and control inventory effectively
Skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills ability to manage complex schedules and solve production issues.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (Oracle or IFS preferred)
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to interact with crossfunctional teams.
- Attention to detail and a proactive mindset for identifying potential production challenges.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other scheduling/planning tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
