Job Description

IKO is a global leader in manufacturing roofing products with production facilities worldwide we are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to join our team of skilled professionals based at our Clay Hill Florida plant. This plant produces premium roofing shingles and in a high speed continuous asphalt shingle manufacturing process environment.

As a Maintenance Planner /Scheduler you will be responsible for planning schedulingand coordinating a broad spectrum of preventive routine repair and emergency maintenance activities at the plant using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) as a primary tool.

Typical work activities include but are not limited to:

  • Planning and preparing work orders for work to be performed on schedule and in a safe reliable and efficient manner.
  • Ensuring appropriate resources are in place and ready for work orders based on workload skill sets available parts etc.
  • Scoping out and developing work for hourly personnel for weekly and outage work.
  • Maintaining and building equipment bill of material and other info in a computerized maintenance management database.
  • Creating updating and scheduling monthly PMs closing out completed PMs and improving/adjusting PMs as necessary.
  • Tracking all equipment information including spare parts and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in a technical field preferred.
  • Two years of experience in industrial maintenance planning/scheduling preferred.
  • Two years of handson experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Experience in mechanical design is a plus.
  • Strong computer skill and experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Excellent communication (written verbal presentation) and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
