Hartford HealthCare the largest integrated healthcare delivery system in Connecticut seeks aBC/BE medical oncologists/hematologists to join a rapidly growing practicein a prime locationwithin the state. The mission of Hartford Healthcare Cancer Institute which oversees over 40 oncologists is on the highest quality patient centered multidisciplinary care patient experience and clinical research trial enrollment. Over the past 7 years we have partnered with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and developed a collaborative relationship for oversight of standards of care education and clinical research.

The successful candidates for this positionwill support growth of the existing practices engage in the development of personal subspecialty interest(s) and participate in system wide Cancer Institute initiatives.

The position is located along the Connecticut shoreline. An existing practice of 2 Oncologist/Hematologists and one APRN covering 2 practice sites see a wide diversity of patients and oversee a wellstaffed and recently renovated on site Infusion Center which provides a wide spectrum of infusion services to patients.

The practice location is a short distance from both New York City and Boston. Long Island sound provides a beautiful setting and backdrop as well as a plethora of options of the finest schools in the nation four beautiful seasons of recreational activities andoptions to live nearthe shore in leafy suburbs or in vibrant urban areas.Many desirable neighborhoods are within a short drive and provide easy access to cultural historical and social opportunities.
