You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Parts Specialist works towards returning a profit on dealer capital invested in parts inventory. The Parts Specialist accomplishes this objective through the use of effective ordering procedures accurate inventory control efficiency & accountability security pricing merchandising displaying and advertising. The Parts Specialist must also ensure that all customers are treated as individuals with care and respect.
Our Ideal Candidate:
Establishesand maintainsgood working relationshipswith customers (both internal & external) to encourage repeat and referral business.
Determines and ensures that specialty parts are available for the customer at the right time.
Encourages the saleof branded parts.
Reviews stock ordering practices with Parts Manager.
Guarantees that customer service telephone inquiries are handled quickly and effectively.
Desires challenging work in a changing environment.
Deals creatively and logically with any problems that arise while expressing empathy for customers and their problems.
Uses computers to monitor daily operations track inventory and reduce obsolescence.
Qualifications:
Minimum of High School Degree or equivalent.
Two years in an automotive parts department preferred.
Valid Drivers License & Clean driving record.
Dealertrack & XTimeexperience a plus but not required.
ExcellentComputer skills
