Job Description

Classification Title:

Student Assistant

Classification Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma and a UF student.

Job Description:

The successful applicant will be trained by lab staff to perform the following research:
1. Lab organization/maintenance/cleanup preparation of reagents solutions and
bacteriological media dishwashing and autoclaving.
2. Mouse Colony Research Assist postdoctoral fellows with their projects.
3. RNA Research Preparation of genomic DNA from eukaryotic cells PCR amplification of DNA.
4. Other related duties as required or assigned

Expected Salary:

$14.00 per hours.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma and a UF student.

Preferred:

Biochemistry and/or Microbiology lab coursework.

Availability over the summer is a must.
