About the Organisation
We have partnered with Cox Inall Ridgeway a team of specialist changemakers working toward an equally prosperous Australia. As a majority First Nationsowned social change agency this passionate team place First Nations peoples inherent rights to selfdetermination at the heart of everything they do.
The team deliver work that spans communications and PR stakeholder engagement policy evaluation and First Nations advisory services : partnering with government corporates NGOs and Aboriginal communitycontrolled organisations.
The growing team of 8 committed staff are now seeking a curious collaborative and driven professional to join as a Consultant. This is an identified position for a First Nations person with a keen interest in communications content development and delivering meaningful outcomes with and for communities.
Under the guidance of a Senior Consultant youll help deliver projects that drive social change : from creating communications campaigns to facilitating community engagement and writing reports that influence decisionmakers. Youll gain handson experience in project management stakeholder relationships research and business development.

Your Day Might Include:
- Supporting and sometimes leading on client projects with community impact.
- Helping create social content and communications materials.
- Supporting consultations with First Nations individuals and communities.
- Conducting research and writing reports for government and nongovernment clients.
- Contributing to proposals and new business pitches
- Managing tasks across multiple projects and deadlines.
- Working with suppliers and external partners.

Who You Are:
- You are an advocate for First Nations social change and want to drive this forward at Cox Inall Ridgeway in line with the teams strategic ambitions.
- You are a thinker curious and passionate about delivering better outcomes with First Nations peoples.
- You are passionate about storytelling particularly on digital channels. You will have experience or a keen interest in working across social media and website content.
- Youre a good communicator ; in writing on the phone and in the room.
- You have some experience (or a strong interest) in communications social change or working with community
- Studies within a relevant field (communications public policy social sciences etc. is desirable but not essential ; your lived experience is highly valued and will demonstrate a level of First Nations cultural understanding and how to work closely with First Nations stakeholders.
- You enjoy working with others and contributing to a positive team environment.
- You have experience in Microsoft Office suite and Workflow management programs.
