Location: Hybrid working Worthing
Perm/FTC: Permanent
Hours: 37 hrs
Salary: Up to 32000 based on experience
Southern Water are looking a Strategic Engagement Advisor to be responsible for managing Southern Waters two critical independent challenge groups. As part of this role you will help drive improvements for Southern Water by ensuring action is taken from independent feedback including challenge and scrutiny from our customer and environmental experts. This action will help to ensure improving customerled decision making our environmental performance and our reputation.
Our Challenge and Scrutiny Panels are comprising of stakeholder experts as below:
- Customer Scrutiny and Transparency Committee (Customer Scrutiny Group) focused on customer led decision making and performance.
- Independent Climate and Environment Group (Environment Group) focused on environment led decision making and performance.
These panels have direct line of sight into our company executive and board ensuring the actions driven are accurate robust and proportionate. This role will help to ensure the independence of the groups are maintained by working with the independent chairs and members of each group.
The Strategic Engagement Advisor will report into the Customer Strategy Insight and Performance Team and will be the secretariat ensuring governance for both groups including scheduling meetings briefings minutes notes reporting and capturing actions. YOU will work across the Southern Water teams to ensure the attendance and production of highquality papers are produced in advance of the meeting as well as the content of the agendas cover the right topics for the benefit of customers and our environmental performance.
You will also support the wider Customer Strategy Insight and Performance team in ensuring the voice of the customer is heard across Southern Water. This could include driving actions from the challenge panels or other sources of insight or performance reporting.
