About the Role

Due to organisational growth we are now seeking an experienced Software Licensing Manager to join our Team in Acacia Ridge QLD on a permanent fulltime position.

The successful candidate will oversee software asset management compliance and cost optimization. This role will ensure effective license allocation renewals and governance while driving costsaving initiatives and aligning licensing strategies with business objectives.

You will monitor software and cloud usage provide insights to optimize investments and collaborate with IT procurement and finance teams to enhance efficiency. Additionally you will ensure compliance with vendor agreements conduct audits and deliver strategic reports to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Manager Cybersecurity and Digital Technology Governance your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Manage software licensing to ensure compliance with governance standards.
  • Oversee license renewals and lifecycle management.
  • Identify and implement costsaving and consolidation opportunities.
  • Monitor license allocation and track usage to optimize utilization.
  • Generate reports and insights to support strategic decisionmaking.
  • Align software licensing investments with IT governance and security protocols.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional Teams to align licensing strategy with business goals.

Essential Requirements

  • A bachelors degree in information technology Finance & Accounting Business Administration or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in software licensing management or a related role
  • Experience with IT asset management and understanding of software licensing agreements and compliance requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft licensing agreements
  • Australian Full Work Rights.
