Job Description
Idaho Forest Group is currently seeking a Seasonal Summer Hire to join our Research & Development team.
This is a temporary position that will provide clean up and coverage for special projects as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Clean work areas removing sawdust pieces of wood and other debris
- Run machine centers as needed
- Use motorized equipment to transfer waste or product to designated areas; use forklift
- Use broom shovel rake etc. to clean areas
- Clean machines of dust and debris using air hoses
- Monitor waste product conveyor to ensure material is transferred to designated area
- Train as a relief operator becoming proficient on machine centers and fill in as needed
- Perform quality control tests on raw materials and products
- Keep work area clean during any down time
- Consistently work at acceptable production levels
- Other duties as needed.
Specific job duties may vary per mill & based on machinery.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be enrolled as a fulltime college student for the Fall 2025 semester
- Minimum 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass a hair follicle drug test postoffer preemployment physical and background check.
- Valid drivers license
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to sit and/or stand for shift reach with hands and arms stoop squat bend at the waist kneel walk varying distance and climb stairs.

- Repetitive use of hands frequent for clerical duties
- Stand/walk frequent
- Sit occasional
- Vision near and far correctable; depth perception
- Hearing preferred for awareness of surrounding machinery mobile equipment emergencies
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to tolerate all weather elements loud conditions airborne particles (sawdust).
