Job Description
SUMMARY
As a CNC Machinist II at Regal Rexnord you will be responsible for taking on more complex machining and responsibilities including programming CNC machines and perform advanced troubleshooting. This midlevel position requires basic knowledge of CNC operations and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software.
- Set up and adjust machines for different production runs.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and maintenance on CNC equipment.
- Inspect and verify the quality of finished products using precision measuring tools.
- Train and mentor Level 1 machinists.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes.
- Maintain detailed records of production activities and machine performance.
- Other duties as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Proficiency in CNC programming and CAD/CAM software.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Advanced knowledge of precision measuring tools and techniques.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Attention to detail and quality control.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
Good reading and comprehension.
The ability to work long periods standing up; lift and manipulate heavy loads (up to 60 lbs);
Twist turn bend stoop push pull reach and walk repetitively and work with oils coolants and lubricants.
Must be willing to work overtime which may include occasional weekends.

While performing the duties of this Job the employee will be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal to moderate.
