Job Description
Seeking a Bencher/Sizer Weld Support with aerospace experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Hebron KY.
This position offers full benefits including PTO Medical Dental and 401k!
Pay is between $17 $24 per hour (based on experience)
In this handson role you will work with welded metal components manipulating and adjusting parts postwelding to ensure dimensional tolerances and specifications are met. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in working with welded assemblies metal fabrication or even automotive body repair.
Responsibilities:
Perform precision sizing and benching of welded components to restore or maintain dimensional accuracy
Use hand tools fixtures and measuring devices to manipulate and verify metal parts
Inspect and confirm parts meet required tolerances following welding operations
Collaborate with welders machinists and quality inspectors to ensure high product standards
Read and interpret technical specifications drawings or work instructions
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
Handson experience working with welded metal parts (required)
Background in auto body repair metalworking fabrication or related trade is strongly preferred
Familiarity with measurement tools and precision tolerance requirements
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High school diploma or GED preferred
