As a Buyer you will play a critical role in the supply chain by assisting with basic procurement tasks and supporting the team to ensure smooth operations. This entrylevel position will expose you to the fundamental elements of procurement processes providing a solid foundation for your career in supply chain management.
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing basic purchase orders and requisitions.
Support inventory checks to ensure reliable supply levels.
Conduct preliminary supplier research and maintain supplier information.
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate shipment and receipt of goods.
Help resolve routine procurement issues under supervision.
Maintain procurement records and documentation.
Support the of procurement transactions as directed.
Contribute to the preparation of procurementrelated reports.
Communicate with suppliers to confirm order statuses.
Assist in the evaluation of supplier performance data.
Skills:
Basic Procurement Principles: Understanding basic procurement processes and terms.
Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in Excel Word and Outlook.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Organization: Efficient in managing documents and procurement records.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work well within a team environment.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in tasks and documentation.
ProblemSolving: Basic ability to identify and address procurement issues.
Time Management: Effective in managing time and meeting deadlines.
