Job Description
About the Role:
We have an open position for a Buyer to join our company in Tualatin OR. As a Buyer you will play a crucial role in supporting our procurement activities ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services necessary for our manufacturing operations. You will work closely with vendors internal teams and management to maintain optimal inventory levels and support our production schedule.
Buyer Responsibilities:
Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials components and services required for production.
Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate prices terms and delivery schedules.
Maintain accurate records of purchases inventory levels and supplier information.
Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand material requirements and address any supply chain issues.
Assist in resolving any discrepancies related to orders invoices or deliveries.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends new products and potential suppliers.
Support inventory management by tracking and reporting on stock movements and usage.
Qualifications:
Experience with Supply Chain Management Logistics or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management is a plus
Pay:
