About the Role
Amazon is seeking a Network Design Program Manager to join our Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for designing and optimizing Amazons fulfillment and transportation network with a strong emphasis on longterm planning and costsaving opportunities. You will play a key role in shaping the future of Amazons supply chain by developing scalable datadriven strategies that balance cost speed and capacity while improving customer experience.
As a strategic thinker and problem solver you will analyze complex supply chain challenges identify inefficiencies and develop solutions that drive longterm operational excellence. You will collaborate crossfunctionally with teams across Supply Chain Transportation Operations Finance and Technology to ensure that Amazons network is positioned for sustainable costeffective growth.
Key job responsibilities
LongTerm Network Planning: Develop multiyear network design strategies that align with business growth customer demand and cost efficiency.
Cost Optimization: Identify costsaving opportunities by analyzing fulfillment and transportation flows optimizing capacity utilization and improving network efficiency
DataDriven Decision Making: Utilize large datasets simulation tools and network optimization models to evaluate future scenarios and inform strategic investments.
CrossFunctional Collaboration: Partner with Supply Chain Operations Finance and Tech teams to implement scalable and costeffective network solutions.
Program Management: Lead complex network design initiatives from concept to implementation ensuring alignment with business objectives and key stakeholders.
Scenario Modeling & Forecasting: Build whatif scenarios and forecasting models to assess potential risks and opportunities for longterm cost savings and network resilience.
Process Improvement & Innovation: Continuously seek ways to enhance Amazons supply chain efficiency through automation technology and operational best practices.
Stakeholder Communication: Present insights recommendations and updates to senior leadership influencing highimpact decisions on network investment and cost management.
3 years of program or project management experience
3 years of working cross functionally with tech and nontech teams experience
3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
Bachelors degree
Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
3 years of driving process improvements experience
Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
Experience building processes project management and schedules
