Job Description
- Provide technical expertise in built engineering disciplines such as electrical mechanical structural and quantity survey among others.
- Offer project management expertise for all infrastructure projects including Opex and capex.
- Responsible for conducting quality assurance and signing off on all work completed by the facilities management service provider.
- Responsible for recommending payment for all invoices submitted by the facilities management company.
- Oversight of all work carried out by the facilities management company across the three sites in Pretoria and Cape Town.
- Provide regular status reports to management.
- Ensure full implementation and compliance with built regulations and contractual obligations between the entity and the facilities management service provider.
- Collaborate effectively with infrastructure associates and management levels.
- Collaborate with the facilities management company and management to establish project goals objectives and timelines.
- Monitor project progress identify deviations from plans and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Manage project risks and issues taking appropriate actions to mitigate them.
- Track and manage project expenditures to ensure projects stay within budget.
- Provide leadership and direction to project team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Ensure all projects follow standard operating procedures policies and guidelines.
Requirements
- Qualification in the built environment (Engineer Architect Quantity Surveyor)
- Qualification in project management
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience
