Job Description
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a Reservations Consultant for a luxury hotel based in Cape Town. This role is ideal for a professional who is highly organized serviceoriented and has a strong understanding of the luxury hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately take and record reservations via phone website and email while maintaining a professional and courteous tone
Process reservations from internal departments the sales office and travel agents
Maintain detailed knowledge of room types locations layouts packages rates and hotel credit policies
Create and maintain reservation records by date of arrival and alphabetical listing
Prepare and send confirmation letters
Communicate reservation details to the front desk and handle modifications or cancellations promptly
Track room availability and forecast future occupancy
Liaise with all departments to communicate guest preferences and special requirements
Ensure all inquiries and bookings are handled according to company standards
Promote hotel services and amenities to maximize sales opportunities
Maintain and update the reservations database with accurate client agency and company details
Process advance deposits and handle prearrival guest queries accurately and efficiently

Working Hours:
08:00 17:00 Monday to Friday
Flexibility required to work additional shifts based on operational needs
Qualifications & Experience:
2 to 3 years experience in a 5star hotel or similar highend environment
A hospitality qualification or equivalent is highly advantageous
Proven customer service excellence
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
