Conduct client consultations and provide legal advice tailored to each clients unique situation.
Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings motions agreements and settlement proposals.
Represent clients in family court proceedings and mediations.
Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients best interests both in and out of court.
Conduct legal research and stay updated on developments in New Jersey family law.
Maintain client relationships and provide ongoing communication and support throughout the legal process.
Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to achieve successful outcomes for clients and provide exceptional service.
Experience you will need:
Experience working as an attorney for a family law firm for at least three 3 years.
Admission to the New Jersey State Bar in good standing.
Broad understanding of the complexities of family law and litigation.
Selfstarter with a positive attitude.
Not afraid to ask questions or work collaboratively with other attorneys in the firm.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
Ability to prioritize workload.
A compassionate and clientfocused approach to legal practice.
Ability to work independently and effectively on a case from beginning to end.
