With the proliferation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AIenabled mechanisms that are now being used across organizations to support accelerate and enable a wide spectrum of business outcomes and critical regulated and materially sensitive workflows there is a need to provide our stakeholders with the assurance that these AIenabled mechanisms are designed appropriately and operate effectively. Providing assurance on AWS responsible AI practices is a critical differentiator for our customers and simplifies their adoption of AIenabled mechanisms in a compliant manner

The Amazon Compliance and Security Assurance team is responsible for demonstrating the governance and security controls of services offered by Amazon. At Amazon scale we must invent new ways to provide the highest level of assurance to our most regulatory conscious customers. We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager who can deliver a strategy to apply broad risk compliance and regulatory knowledge to challenging and complex AI / ML initiatives..

7 years of management experience
5 years of technical program management experience working directly with software engineering teams

8 years managing large scale projects including scope schedule budget quality along with risk and critical path management experience.
Experience defining KPIs/SLAs used to drive businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
Subject matter expertise in responsible AI security regulations applicable to cloud services or similar technology businesses and compliance activities.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $140600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $300700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
