Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented Legal Executive with approximately 2 years of working experience to join our clients legal team. This role is suitable for candidates without a practicing certificate but with a strong foundation in legal research documentation and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft review and maintain a variety of legal documents including contracts letters and internal policies.
- Conduct legal research and provide basic legal opinions or summaries as required.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant laws regulations and internal policies.
- Coordinate with external legal firms on litigation or advisory matters.
- Maintain legal files and records in an organized and confidential manner.
- Support in company secretarial duties including the preparation of Board Resolutions and meeting minutes.
- Monitor regulatory changes and assist in implementing necessary updates to internal procedures.
- Handle ad hoc legal or administrative tasks as assigned by the Head of Department.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Law (LL. B or equivalent).
- Approximately 2 years of working experience in a corporate or legal environment.
- No practicing certificate required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Detailoriented with good analytical and organizational skills.
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint).
