Job Description

Nashoba Valley Technical High School seeks a dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional to provide essential support to teachers and students with disabilities.. This fulltime schoolyear hourly position involves assisting with IEP implementation in both general education and specialized settings. Responsibilities include maintaining student confidentiality delivering tailored instruction fostering student socialemotional and academic growth implementing behavior plans and IEP accommodations collecting data on student progress and collaborating with educators. This role may involve working directly with an individual student 1:1 providing support in academic classes or assisting in vocational settings. Specific assignments are subject to change based on student needs. The paraprofessional also performs other reasonable duties as assigned by the Special Education Coordinator or the Director of Student ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma (or equivalent) with a Massachusettsendorsed paraprofessional assessment (ParaPro or WorkKeys) completed 48 college credits or an associates degree and prior experience with high school students with disabilities.
