Job Overview
The CTAE J.U.M.P. Ahead Intern will provide administrative support assist with marketing and communications event and program support while also working on technology and other digital projects. This role is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in social media management event marketing and office administration.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Provides administrative support such as organizing materials data entry and managing communications.
- Assists with preparing materials for meetings workshops or training sessions.
- Joins calls with business partners to learn about the business onboarding process.
- Creates flyers and promotional materials for CTAE programs.
- Assists with recommendations to the LCPS CTAE website and other communication.
- Creates engaging content for social media (Linkedin) and help develop engagement strategies.
- Captures photos and videos of activities to document office events.
- Sets up and takes down materials for meetings and presentations.
- Assists with attendee checkins and distribute handouts or resources.
- Supports event planning and coordination.
- Takes meeting notes and summarize key discussion points.
- Organizes digital files and assist with document scanning.
- Creates basic presentations using Canva and/or Google Slides.
- Helps troubleshoot minor tech issues for office staff or event participants.
- Provides support and brainstorming ideas on how to get more students involved and connected with student experiences and events.
- Participates in team meetings and training to develop professional skills.
- Shadows professionals in different roles to learn about career paths.
- Attends staff meetings to observe administrative decisionmaking.
- Receives mentorship and career guidance from education leaders.
- Reflects on the experience through journaling or presentations at the end of the internship.
- Engages with students in mathematics and nonmathematics activities.
- Sets up and engage with students in daily activities.
- Assists with meal preparation and service.
Qualifications
Below are the minimum qualifications for this job. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are also acceptable.
- Interest in education marketing event planning or business administration.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Punctuality reliability and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
