About the role
The Environment and Release Lead is responsible for overseeing the technical release delivery configuration and management of nonproduction environments ensuring their stability security and efficiency. This role acts as the central coordination point for technical release activities working closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure seamless provisioning environment readiness and adherence to governance and compliance standards. This role requires strong technical expertise collaboration skills and a proactive approach to optimising nonproduction environments.
What youll do
- Oversee planning and delivery of nonproduction environments including cloud infrastructure
- Ensure environment readiness governance compliance and integration with Suncorp platforms
- Manage and optimise DevOps activities including release pipelines and automation
- Coordinate issue triaging defect resolution and environment stability
- Provide leadership updates on status risks and key milestones
What youll bring
- 8 years of experience in Release/Delivery Management within largescale Agile environments
- 5 years of leadership experience coordinating release activities for enterprise projects
- Proven expertise in Environment and DevOps (Technical Release)
- Solid background in SaaS implementations for enterprise workflow applications
- Extensive experience in IT infrastructure and security in largescale enterprises
- Strong industryspecific experience within Insurance or similar sectors
