WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING
- Support the development and maintenance of a safe work environment by applying Work Health & Safety (WHS) skills and knowledge
- Assist and conduct workplace safety audits
- Work with the various sites and national safety committees conduct training manage investigations and reviews incidents/near misses
- Assists in the development implementation and evaluation of risk management policies and procedures
- Help solve WHS problems based on conceptual and technical knowledge & analysis
- Assist with the management of the Comcare Management System
- Encourage appropriate attitudes towards WHS and promote a culture of zero harm to all
- This is afulltime permanent position working Monday to Friday during business hours flexibility with hours during peak times may be required
WHAT CAN YOU BRING
- Certificate IV WH&S Requirement
- A graduate degree or Diploma in WH&S Desirable
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment Desirable
- Financial and business acumen
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
