Part Time Medical Assistant position
If working within a group home setting at Devereux Advanced Behavioral with adolescents with complex mental health and behavioral health challenges high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or substance abuse and mental health cooccuring disorders sounds rewarding to you then this is the job for you!
Group home staff design housespecific routines chores and activities that support an individuals growth and development.

You will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. We offer you the privilege of being able to work really closely with some of the most vulnerable people in our community to build on their strengths and truly make a contribution to an improvement in their lives. Reporting to the residential program nurse some of your responsibilities will include (in a number of on campus residential homes):
- Assisting with medication administration (if MAP certified)
- Clerical support
- Transporting clients to medical appointments

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) or Highschool diploma with relevant human services experience required. Academic studies in the areas of psychology sociology social work and education are highly desirable.
- Previous experience preferred (not required) working with individuals under 21 with psychological emotional and behavioral disorders complex posttraumatic stress disorder cooccurring mental health and substance abuse disorders and/or autism spectrum disorders.
- Drivers license is required.
- MAPS Certified preferred
- Must be able to attend a 2 week paid orientation which runs MondayFriday 8AM 4PM in Rutland MA
