Job Duties:
- Work safely and maintain a safe work area in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Lead product development activities by operating residential HVAC equipment controlling test facilities and collecting and reviewing experimental test data
- Lead installation modification and builds of developmental residential HVAC equipment and components following engineering agency and test requirements
- Work with Test Engineering and other Technicians to install and utilize laboratory test equipment including data acquisition systems power analyzers flow equipment pressure and temperature measurement devices
- Troubleshooting and repair of HVAC equipment
Must Have:
- 3 years work experience in related field
- Experience in laboratory setting and all the use associated equipment necessary to evaluate an HVAC systems performance/reliability is preferred
- Experience related to refrigeration related thermodynamic principles and mechanical troubleshooting issues
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel Word Outlook) required

- Completion of an HVAC training program at an accredited school
- EPA Type Universal Certification
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of measuring/inspection instruments and or mechanical and electrical components and their principles properties and theories
- Proficient understanding of schematics reading and interpreting engineering drawings technical reports safety rules operation and maintenance instructions
- Ability to understand andfollow work instructions/applicable test standards
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of complex variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to listen and speak effectively before groups of employees in the organization
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fastpaced team environment
