Parts Counter Associate Job Description:
The Parts Counter Associate is responsible for supporting the service department and wholesale customers. In this position your responsibilities include quoting selling and stocking parts. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
- Work with technicians to identify parts accurately
- Complete special order part requests
- Communicate with the service department on parts status
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Understand and follow federal state and local regulations applicable to the industry
Requirements:
- Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
- Ability to identify problems quickly
- Knowledge of automobiles
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Strong reading computer and mathematics skills
- Ability to learn new technology repair and service procedures and specifications
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Positive friendly attitude
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detailoriented with a professional appearance and strong work ethic
Compensation:
Salary: $50000$70000
