Job Description

About the Company:

Our client is a leading freight forwarding company dedicated to delivering world-class logistics solutions across air sea and land.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential clients market trends and competitors. Gather data on customer needs to inform marketing and business development strategies.
  • Generate leads through cold calling networking referrals and digital marketing. Target clients who would benefit from freight services.
  • Develop and implement client acquisition strategies. Present companys freight value proposition negotiate contracts and secure new clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. Address concerns and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Create customized proposals and presentations showcasing the benefits of UFS freight services in enhancing clients supply chain operations.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth implementation of new contracts aligning services with client requirements.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to network and stay updated on trends.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of marketing and business development strategies.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote UFS freight services through digital marketing social media and email marketing.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing business development or sales roles preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry. Experience specifically in the freight sector is highly desirable. Qualifications & Skills:
  • A bachelors degree in business administration marketing logistics or a related field. A masters degree in a relevant field can be an added advantage.
  • Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain principles including freight forwarding warehousing and transportation.
  • Proven experience in lead generation client acquisition and business development with strong negotiation and networking skills.
  • Knowledge of the logistics and freight industry including trends and market dynamics. Ability to address client needs with tailored solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and lead initiatives for seamless contract execution
