Job Description
ANNOUNCEMENT OF SUMMER VACANCIES
ESY 2025 Preschool
BCBA
1 Position
Location: Salemwood
(position contingent upon enrollment)
Qualifications (Required):
- Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Successful experience as a BCBA
- Experience modifying and implementing Positive Behavior Support Plans for students within subseparate and inclusion classes.
- Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers students parents and administrators.
- Teachers must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info.
Qualifications (Preferred):
- Experience working in the Malden Public Schools.
- ESL Licensed or SEI Endorsement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Program Managers/Coordinator to plan and implement ESY Curriculum.
- Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records.
- Provide consultative BCBA services for students in the ESY Program.
- Update BSP as necessary.
- Plan and oversee the development and implementation of classroom and individual programs related to instruction using the principles of ABA for students with autism and other disabilities.
- Collect data and prepare reports including progress reports for the purpose of documenting case history.
- Perform other related activities as required by the program coordinator.
Duration:
- 83 hours total to include the following:
- Professional Inservice Day 7/1/2025 3 hours).
- 20 days MondayThursday from July 7 August 7 7:30 a.m. 11:30 a.m..
Stipend: $37 an hour $3071 20 days/5 hrs 1 inservice at 3 hours)
Funding Source: Special Education
