Job Description

ANNOUNCEMENT OF SUMMER VACANCIES

ESY 2025 Preschool

BCBA

1 Position

Location: Salemwood

(position contingent upon enrollment)

Qualifications (Required):

  1. Valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  2. Successful experience as a BCBA
  3. Experience modifying and implementing Positive Behavior Support Plans for students within subseparate and inclusion classes.
  4. Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers students parents and administrators.
  5. Teachers must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info.

Qualifications (Preferred):

  1. Experience working in the Malden Public Schools.
  2. ESL Licensed or SEI Endorsement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Program Managers/Coordinator to plan and implement ESY Curriculum.
  2. Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records.
  3. Provide consultative BCBA services for students in the ESY Program.
  4. Update BSP as necessary.
  5. Plan and oversee the development and implementation of classroom and individual programs related to instruction using the principles of ABA for students with autism and other disabilities.
  6. Collect data and prepare reports including progress reports for the purpose of documenting case history.
  7. Perform other related activities as required by the program coordinator.

Duration:

  • 83 hours total to include the following:
    • Professional Inservice Day 7/1/2025 3 hours).
    • 20 days MondayThursday from July 7 August 7 7:30 a.m. 11:30 a.m..



Stipend: $37 an hour $3071 20 days/5 hrs 1 inservice at 3 hours)

Funding Source: Special Education
