Leidos is seeking candidates for a fulltime position as InKingdom Communications Specialist for a U.S. Foreign Military Sales program in support of a Saudi Ministry of Defense end user. The InKingdom Communications Specialist is responsible for daily operations communications systems support in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

This role involves diagnosing troubleshooting and maintaining the communications infrastructure and network systems critical for effective communications for Royal Saudi Naval Forces. This is a one year overseas assignment with option to renew. We are looking for an energetic teamoriented communications specialist that can inspire Leidos personnel to make smart smarter while maintaining trusted professional relationships with employees partners customers and vendors in a highly diverse multinational setting.

THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)

• Provides onsite consultation oversight and integration support of existing hardware software network configurations and new system initiatives for all sites within area of responsibility.

• Advises on technical requirements for products and services support equipment and electronic equipment installations.

• Provides guidance for the handling installation and utilization of various systems and equipment.

• Duties also may include: assisting in the development and ensuring adherence to areawide procedural/policy changes.

• Work independently to achieve daytoday objectives with significant impact on operational results or project deliverables.

• Responsible for entire projects or processes within a technical area.

• Develop technical solutions that require collaboration with internal experts deep analyses and understanding of impact on endproduct/solution.

• Develops solutions to technical problems and issues that are unclear and require deep technical knowledge.

• Communicates with internal and client project team members.

• Works to influence team members regarding solution design process and/or approaches.

• Requires deep understanding of and ability to apply principles theories and concepts of technical domain and has broad understanding of other related specialty areas

WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)

• Bachelors degree in a technical field such as Engineering Science or a related field of study from an accredited college or university and 8 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 10 years of prior relevant experience.

• Three 3 years of experience supporting C4I systems such as NAVMACS HF UHF and VHF Radios and Antennas Tactical Data Links (Link11 16 22 CENTRIXS Network Communications SATCOM or ADSI.

• Experience working OCONUS in security cooperation efforts or for foreign customers (i.e. not for US military bases or USG facilities).

• Ability to obtain and maintain a US SECRET security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three 3 years of experience with NAVWAR prime mission products.

• Experience interacting with U S G a n d foreign senior military/government officials.

• Completion of DISAM SCM courses such as SCMC.

• DISAM International Affairs Certification Level 1 or above.

• Experience working in austere locations (e.g. Middle Eastern nations) in security cooperation/assistance efforts or for foreign customers (i.e. not for US military bases or USG
