Job Description
A specialist international design company in Centurion is recruiting for a Mechanical Draughtsman/Technical Writer with 5 10 years of working experience in a design and manufacturing environment. Working experience in SolidWorks 2023.
Duties & Responsibilities

Minimum requirements:
- N5 or N6 Multidisciplinary draughting or Diploma
- 5 10 years of working experience in a design and manufacturing environment.
- Working experience in SolidWorks 2023
- Ideal experience: Microsoft Dynamics NAV (ERP)
- Technical writing experience
- Create thorough detail and assembly drawings and assembly instructions from the engineers layouts.
- Convert hand sketches into CAD
- Writing of assembly instructions from engineering notes.
- Creation of highquality documents for production use.
- Standardise preexisting layouts and assembly drawings.
- Work independently with designers and engineers on various projects and assembly drawings for manufacturing for fabrication.
- Plot and manage CAD files etc
- Translate electronic documents between various formats
- Update older drawings
