As our presence grows were on the lookout for an enthusiastic and resultsdriven Event Sales Executive to join our QLD sales team.
About the Role
As an Event Sales Executive youll be at the heart of driving sales across our Brisbane venues. From nurturing inbound inquiries to identifying new business opportunities youll play a key role in bringing our clients visions to lifewhile hitting revenue targets and growing our reputation for excellence.
Youll manage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry to event handover while building lasting relationships and representing our venues at industry events and functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate and convert sales leads across weddings corporate events and private functions.
- Respond to all incoming inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm securing bookings with a high conversion rate.
- Conduct engaging venue tours highlighting the unique appeal of Waters Edge Riverlife and Queensland Museum.
- Manage client relationships from start to finish working closely with Event Managers to ensure a seamless experience.
- Represent our venues at trade shows expos and networking events to build awareness and generate new leads.
- Stay up to date on market trends competitors and customer needs to keep our offerings competitive.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure every event is executed to perfection on time and on budget.
About You
- You have a strong sales background with a proven ability to drive results through lead generation facetoface selling and relationship management.
- At least 1 2 years experience in event sales coordination or planning within premium hospitality venues or hotels.
- Excellent communication skills and a customerfirst mindsetyoure a natural relationship builder.
- You thrive in a fastpaced environment juggling multiple events and clients with ease and attention to detail.
- A passion for delivering exceptional events and the confidence to negotiate and close deals.
- You bring a cando attitude professionalism and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
